Our laboratory specializes in molecular diagnostics and translational research in hematological malignancies, including acute leukemias, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and inherited hematologic conditions. We focus on the integration of advanced molecular techniques such as RT-PCR, digital PCR, NGS, and fibroblast culture protocols for germline variant assessment.

The Pulkit Rastogi Lab focuses on the molecular and translational aspects of hematologic malignancies, with a particular emphasis on acute leukemia, MDS, and myeloproliferative neoplasms. Our work integrates advanced molecular techniques—including RT-PCR, digital PCR, and next-generation sequencing—to improve diagnostic accuracy and explore genotype–phenotype correlations. We are also actively involved in germline variant assessment through cultured skin fibroblasts, with applications in hereditary predisposition syndromes. Additional interests include assay development for T-cell clonality, quality assurance in hematopathology, and lab automation for streamlined molecular reporting.
